Support Us

Advancing the Mission

The goal of the Development Office is to advance the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Northwestern Pennsylvania.   This is done by raising awareness of the Sisters’ many ministries, hosting events to share our message (Thanksgiving Dinner, SSJ Spirit of Courage), research and secure various grants, find new sources of funding and invite friends to participate with the Sisters to continue their ministries.  The Development Office seeks to nurture relationships between the Sisters and the many persons they have connected with over the years.  In addition to planned giving opportunities, the Development Office encourages planned gifts to help ensure the viability of the Sisters’ mission into the future.

The Sisters of St. Joseph of Northwestern Pennsylvania are grateful recipients of grants from SOAR (Support Our Aging Religious).
