SSJ Spirit of Courage: Nominations

SSJ Spirit of CourageThe Sisters are seeking nominees who have demonstrated extraordinary courage in their daily lives such as those who have overcome or continue to live with illness, sustained a traumatic injury, struggled with addiction and achieved sobriety, survived severe economic adversity, or who have been courageous in another way.  Nominees must reside within the boundaries of the thirteen counties of Northwestern Pennsylvania.
 
The SSJ Spirit of Courage Recognition honors individuals who exemplify courage and meet the criteria outlined in the nomination form.

The Nominee's Story:

The Nominee's story is very important! The best way to illustrate the courage of the individual you are nominating is to provide as many details as possible. Please provide as lengthy a narrative/essay as necessary to relay the nominee’s full story and include the following:

Details as to the nature of the nominee’s addiction, accident, illness, injury or economic misfortune. Details about the nominee’s recovery process (include setbacks, outlook, specific accomplishments, and current activity). Ways in which this individual has enhanced the recovery of others either directly or through organizational participation. Why you feel this person exemplifies courage.
